Alberta is a Canadian province located between British Columbia and Saskatchewan, underneath the Northwest Territories and above the U.S. state of Montana. It is home to about 4.54 million people, with more than half living in large urban areas, and is the fourth most populated province in Canada. Their capital city is Edmonton, which is home to about 1.52 million people, but their largest city is Calgary, which is home to 1.61 million people. About a quarter of the population reported being of British Isles origin and the province is home to the third-highest Aboriginal population in Canada.
