The Ford brand is one of the highest valued automotive brands in the world, particularly when compared to its American competitors. Valued at around 9.1 billion U.S. dollars, it ranked seventh among the most valuable brands within the automotive sector worldwide as of June 2023. The namesake brand belongs to Ford Motor Company, which also holds the rights to the Lincoln brand. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Ford brand represented around 95.4 percent of the manufacturer’s sales in the United States. However, Ford Motor's 2023 calendar year was not without its share of challenges. The United Auto Workers strike in September and October put pressure on vehicle production at many of Ford Motor's, General Motors', and Stellantis' assembly plants in the United States, leading to an estimated loss of nearly 4.35 billion U.S. dollars for the Big Three manufacturers.
