The secondary market for watches is back in the spotlight after the pandemic-era rush, but not for the most positive reasons. The price index for the most attractive luxury watches has showed perpetual decline since the middle of 2022 coinciding with economic slowdown and increased rates. Still, luxury watches are the strongest performing segment of the secondhand luxury goods market, with an estimated value of over 2.65 billion U.S. dollars in 2023.
