The global baby food market is a very competitive industry and retail sales in this segment were projected to grow from 71 billion U.S. dollars in 2023 to about 100 billion U.S. dollars by 2029. As one of the world’s most populous countries, it should come as no surprise that China was the biggest market for baby food as of 2023, with over 18.5 billion dollars in sales revenue, while the United States came in second.
