Construction industry in Sweden - statistics & facts
The construction sector in Sweden seen growth every year since 2009. That has also been the case through the economic uncertainty of the last years. However, the value of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Sweden's construction industry has increased quite slowly in the past two years. The contribution of the construction industry to Sweden's GDP just increased from 347 billion Swedish kronor in 2022 to 355.5 billion Swedish kronor in 2024, which was a much slower growth than in previous years.
