Most employees in the United States had savings in bank accounts as of end 2023. A total of ** percent of employees surveyed had savings in savings accounts. Roughly half of the respondents also had investments or savings in employer-sponsored defined contribution plans, such as the * plan. Interestingly, ** percent of the participants said that they held savings in cryptocurrency, while percent invested in NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
