 eSports content consumption during COIVD-19

The results of a survey conducted in 2020 revealed that ** percent of respondents had increased their eSport content consumption since restrictive measures were introduced in Hungary because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Even though interest in eSports content increased during this period, only ** percent of Hungarians were willing to spend more on eSports than they had before the pandemic, while ** percent of survey participants were less willing to spend on their hobby.

 Twitch streamers

Twitch is a video streaming service with a main focus on video game live streaming. The most popular Hungarian Twitch channel in 2022 belonged to WeAreTheVR, counting *** thousand followers, as KriszhAdvice ranked second with *** thousand followers. WeAreTheVR was not only the most followed channel on Twitch but it also had over *** thousand subscribers on YouTube.
