In 2022, *** companies were listed on the ChiNext board at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In comparison to that, the Sci-Tech Innovation Board or Star market attracted *** IPOs. It was the latest board added to the Shanghai Stock Exchange. From its regulatory structure, it was very similar to the NASDAQ. The aim was to build a market that attracts innovative startups.
