The data refer to the stock exchanges in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Greater China is defined here as including mainland China, Kong Kong and Taiwan.

In 2023, the stock exchange in Shanghai recorded *** initial public offerings, which was the second-highest number among all bourses in Greater China. After establishing the Star-A market at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the popularity of the bourse increased significantly.
