According to a recent survey, the level of awareness of human papillomavirus (HPV) among parents in Italy increased overall between 2017 and 2022, but decreased in 2024. As of 2024, the information level of parents having at least one child vaccinated against HPV was the highest, with **** percent of respondents belonging to this group knew what HPV was. By contrast, the lowest share, **** percent, was registered among parents who were not interested in vaccinating their children against the virus.
