The technology sector was the most common target for cyberattacks in the Asia Pacific region for a period between 2018 and 2019, making up ** and ** percent of all cyberattacks in Japan and Australia respectively. In comparison, nearly half of cyber attacks in Hong Kong aimed at the manufacturing sector.
