* Respondents from 29 countries around the world. Approximately 500 individuals aged between 18 and 74 years were surveyed in Poland.

According to data published by , ** percent of respondents in Poland thought that air pollution was one of the top three environmental issues facing their country, the most of any category. By contrast, only **** percent of respondents believe soil erosion to be a top three environmental issue.

Dealing with waste another big issue

The second-most important environmental issue according to Polish respondents was dealing with waste. When asked what they thought would be an effective policy in reducing plastic waste, ** percent of Polish people thought that government investment to improve recycling would be an effective policy. As to what personal actions people were willing to take, ** percent of people said they would re-use disposable items.

Causes of climate change

In the same survey, respondents from different countries had different opinions on the most pressing environmental issues. In Great Britain, ** percent of respondents thought that dealing with waste was the most important issue, while in Germany, the most important issue was climate change
