This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of 2017. The aim of the survey was to find out the share of financial institutions currently engaging in partnerships with Fintech companies. Nowadays, most financial institutions see their business at risk because of the rise of Fintech companies. Therefore, they want to keep pace with the new market trends. Conducting business with Fintech companies can allow financial institutions to explore and introduce new technologies in their business models.
As of the survey period, ** percent of the interviewed insurance companies stated they were partnering with Fintech companies.
