IHCL is one of India's biggest hotel brands. It is most famous for its luxury segment which is known as Taj Hotels. It came into existence in 1903, when the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai was inaugurated. It was founded by Jamsetji Tata, who was also the founder of TATA Group. Today, IHCL is a subsidiary of the TATA Group.
