China's oil and gas enterprise Sinopec Group is the largest state-owned oil company in the world. In 2019, Sinopec generated approximately 443 billion U.S. dollars in revenues. Ranking second was another Chinese enterprise, the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Sinopec is also the leading oil and gas company by revenue including publicly traded enterprises.
