This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female victims of sexual harassment were asked if they had ever reported a sexual harassment experience to the police or another authority figure, broken down by age group. The majority of women in all age groups have never reported their experiences of sexual harassment. Older women are more likely to have reported sexual harassment than younger women, with ** percent of 50 to 64 year olds claiming to have done so, compared to just * percent of 18 to 24 year olds.
