The general trend in household purchase of organic food is an increase, recorded across all categories until 2020.
Grocery products make up the section with the most significant growth. Indeed, its sales value amounted to 1.079 billion euros in 2012 and reached close to four billion euros in 2024. 
It is worth mentioning that when asked about the types of organic food they consume the most, French people placed fruits and vegetables at the top of their list.
