Due to the census published by the INE, the data for 2013 were recalculated and, from that year, a new series not comparable with previous data is started.
The 2013 data includes from December 2012 to November 2013.
In 2024, the price of hake and whiting reached the highest figure of the period studied, at **** euros per kilogram. The beginning of the period observed was when the lowest price of this type of fish was recorded. Since then, the price of hake and whiting consumed in Spain has been rising progressively.
