That year, the most valued French cosmetics brand in the world was Chanel, with a brand value of more than 27.3 billion U.S. dollars. ³¢'°¿°ùé²¹±ô and Guerlain were in second and third places, with a brand value amounting to about 15.6 and 7.7 million U.S. dollars, respectively.

The beauty market in France

With a market value of about 14 billion euros, France is one of the largest cosmetics markets in Europe, preceded only by Germany. In 2024, France was also the European country with the highest number of small and medium-sized enterprises in the cosmetics manufacturing industry, approximately 2,000. In the following years, the revenue of the cosmetics market in France is expected to increase up to 3.5 billion U.S. dollars by the year 2030.
