In 2024, the consumption volume of salmon produced grew by three percent in total. The total volume consumed in the EU market grew by *** percent in comparison to the previous year.
   In 2021, Mowi’s global harvest volume of salmon totaled at approximately *** million metric tons of gutted weight. Salmon harvested in Norway accounted for about than ** percent of the total volume, amounting to about *** million metric tons. Other countries for the harvest were Chile, Scotland, North America, the Faroe Islands, Australia and Ireland.
   The non-profit organization Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) uses a certification and labelling program for sustainable and responsible aquaculture producers. In 2020, ***sites of Mowi ASA had the ASC certification. Among these sites, most were in Norway, followed by Canada and Ireland.
