Figures include crude oil, shale oil, oil sands, condensates and NGLs. Liquid fuels from other sources such as biofuels and synthetic derivatives of coal and natural gas are excluded, as well as oil shales/kerogen extracted in solid form.

Oil production share of selected countries in Europe and the CIS 2024
In 2024, Russia accounted for **** percent of the global oil production, making it the largest oil producer of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. By comparison, Norway's oil production share stood at around ****percent. Combined, all the selected European and CIS countries accounted for ***percent of the world's crude oil production.
