The number of heat pumps sold in Austria fell slightly in 2024, with * units sold. Figures had soared in 2022 and fell again in 2023, but remained mostly stable in 2024. Most of those heat pumps were for space heating. Nevertheless, the sales of heat pumps for domestic hot water and for ventilation also increased significantly in 2022. Austria was one of the countries with the lowest number of heat pumps sold in Europe.
