This statistic was compiled using earlier editions of the report.
The area cultivated with vines in Brazil has been on a mostly downward trend since 2014. In 2020, Brazil's vineyard surface area amounted to * hectares, one thousand hectares lower than in the previous year. In comparison to 2014, the vineyard surface area in the South American country decreased by around ten percent. By 2023, the vineyard surface area had grown one again to * hectares. Brazil is the Latin American country with the third largest vineyard surface area, after Argentina and Chile.
