The compensation are the costs charged by pharmacies to the health insurance, excluding taxes. The compensation is on the basis of mutual agreements between the insurance companies and pharmacies, and therefore can differ per pharmacy. Furthermore, the compensation is excluding the delivery tariff of the pharmacy.
Concerning pharmaceutical goods that are prescribed as well as (outside of institutions like hospitals and nursing homes) provided and compensated on the basis of the health insurance law (ZVW).
