British Gas is the largest supplier of natural gas for domestic consumers in Great Britain. As of the fourth quarter of 2024, it held a market share of roughly **** percent. In the last years, Octopus Energy saw the most market share gains, these are in part associated with its acquisition of Shell Energy in the fourth quarter of 2023.
