As of the second quarter of 2023, the deposit surplus at First Abu Dhabi Bank in the United Arab Emirates stood at *** billion Emirati dirhams. This was a considerable drop over the previous two quarters, but still the highest deposit surplus amongst local banks in the UAE. Emirates National Bank of Dubai had the second highest deposit surplus during the period, at *** billion AED. Commercial Bank International (CBI) was the only bank during the quarter to record a deficit.Â
