In 2022, 95.9 percent of children aged 14 to 17 years old in Australia did not meet the recommendations for daily intake of vegetables. The share of children aged two to three eating enough vegetables per day is higher than any other age group, but still low, with around one fifth of children aged between 2 and 3 years old consuming enough vegetables on a daily basis.
