The source states that "the Netherlands contribution to the monetary aggregates in the euro area is calculated in the same way as the monetary aggregates of the euro area. This means that a full consolidation approach was followed. The respective monetary aggregates of the euro area are hence the sum of the national monetary aggregates of all EMU Member States plus the eight percent of the total value of the euro banknotes in circulation that are allocated to the ECB. The flows are calculated by adjusting the changes in successive positions for breaks in series and revaluations."
