In 2024, the German aerospace industry generated around ** billion euros in revenue. This was a noticeable increase compared to the year before. Generally, the revenue generated in the German aerospace industry has increased significantly since 1995, and is more than six times as high in 2024 as it was in 1995. After the coronavirus-related declines in 2020 and 2021, revenue has recovered and even exceeded the pre-pandemic numbers in 2024. Reasons for the increased revenue in the aviation industry are high ticket prices and high demand for seats in business and first class.
