The number of visits abroad from the United Kingdom grew significantly in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous year, after falling dramatically with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite the annual increase, total outbound visits from the UK remained below pre-pandemic levels, reaching around **** million between January and March 2023.
