This represented a decrease of over 70 percent in comparison to a year earlier. By 2025, the company's revenues bounced back and amounted to about 13.7 billion Swiss francs. Avolta is a Swiss-based travel retailer operating duty-free stores and convenience stores in airports, cruise lines, seaports, railways, and tourist areas. The company operates over 2,000 stores around the globe. The company rebranded from Dufry to Avolta in early 2024.
