2006 to 2016
The source defines institutional investors as: "units that invest capital that is acquired as a result of their activities. These activities are mainly the insurance of pensions and offering private investors opportunities to invest in selected risk profiles.
Institutional investors are divided into pension funds, insurance corporations and investment fundsnon-MMF investment funds. The money market funds are excluded from the investment funds."
In 2014, Statistics the Netherlands has conducted a major revision on their macro-economic data. The national accounts have been compiled in accordance with the guidelines and concepts of the new European System of Accounts 2010 (ESA 2010). In addition, new statistical sources and estimation methods have been used during the revision. This table shows the figures from 2008 after revision, the figures up to 2008 have not changed.
