Prior-year figures are based on earlier publications of the source. As of 2009, figures underlie a new classification of economic sectors. They can only partly be compared to figures from the years prior.
In 2024, wholesale sales in Germany totaled over ***Â trillion euros. This means that turnover has risen sharply compared to previous years. In contrast, the number of companies in the wholesale sector has been falling continuously for several years.
