Connection to internet use

On average, Malaysians spend around *** hours on the internet and **** hours on social media daily. Internet and social media use were tied to smartphone ownership. Mobile messaging, taking pictures, and social networking were the most popular activities among Malaysian smartphone users. According to a survey conducted in February 2019, ** percent of respondents stated that they use their smartphone for text messaging and voice notes at least once a day.
