In 2023, the consumption of fishery products in Spain decreased with respect to previous periods, totaling million kilograms. In 2020, on the contrary, fish was the type of sea product most consumed by Spanish households, with more than *** million kilograms. On the other hand, seafood consumption was over *** million kilograms, which is a significant increase over the previous year, and which makes it still the second most preferred fishery product by Spaniards.
