A 2016 survey on the preferred country of origin of beers in the Netherlands, approximately ** percent of the Dutch beer drinkers participating in this survey answered they prefer to drink Dutch beer. Belgian beer came second, with approximately ** percent of the respondents saying they prefer to drink beer from Belgium. Another survey also included a question on the kind of beers the Dutch like to drink. This statistic shows that the majority of the Dutch respondents drink lager at least once a month.
