Computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI)
The JIM study is published by the Research association for media education South-West (Medienpädagogischer Vorschungsverbund Südwest), which is a joint venture of the State office of communication Baden-Württemberg (Landesanstalt für Kommunikation LFK) and the State center of media and communication Rhineland-Palatinate (Landeszentrale für Medien und Kommunikation, LMK). The series is developed in cooperation with SWR media research (SWR Medienforschung), Zeitungs Marketing Gesellschaft (ZMG), the Federal Agency for Civic Education, the State Agencies for Civic Education in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate as well as the Stiftung Lesen (Foundation for reading).
