Digitalization across various industries in India has increased the demand for electronic products such as computers, laptops, desktops, notebooks, and workstations among Indian consumers. The ownership of computers in Indian households was expected to experience enormous growth between 2025 and 2029, increasing from ** million to **** million. The revenue of the desktop PCs market was predicted to increase steadily and reach around *** billion U.S. dollars by 2028 in India. 

Electronics market in India

The Make in India campaign aims to expand and transform the manufacturing sector across India. With government support and private initiatives, the Indian electronics industry experienced a jump in the domestic production and consumption of electronics, with the sector expected to grow considerably by 2026. In 2023, the consumption value of electronics across the country was estimated to be around *** trillion Indian rupees. In the same year, the domestic production of electronics contributed close to three percent towards the GDP of India.
