The annual value of the operating profit, before taxes, of the NatWest Group fluctuated considerably between 2012 and 2024. The highest loss during this period of time was in 2013, with a total value of approximately 8.8 billion British pounds of loss incurred. In 2025, the NatWest group reported a profit of roughly  7.7 billion British pounds. The NatWest Group was named the Royal Bank of Scotland until 2020, when it was renamed after the branch under which the majority of its business was delivered.
