The annual value of the loans granted by the NatWest Group to its customers and other banks increased between 2017 and 2024, yet with slight fluctuations. In 2024, the total value reached around billion British pounds, primarily due to a considerable growth in customer loans from billion to billion British pounds. On the other hand, loans to banks experienced a slight decrease compared to the previous year.

The NatWest group was named the Royal Bank of Scotland group until 2020, when it was renamed after the branch under which the majority of its business was delivered.
