The health of the global economy has an impact on merger and acquisition activity, which features heavily in the corporate strategy of many companies in growth years. However, M&A is again in the cards for many European corporate executives heading into 2024 compared to the previous year's hesitations. In 2023, only ** percent of corporate executives said that their company is not considering M&A over the next 12 months, up from ** percent in the previous year. Additionally, less companies are considering acquisitions compared to previous years.
