At the end of 2024, the French airline Air France and the Dutch airline KLM had 345 and 229 airplanes respectively. Of the 345 aircraft flown by Air France, two were cargo planes, 36 were planes serving exclusively regional distances, 187 flew medium-distances, and 117 flew long-distances. As for the KLM fleet, it was made up of four cargo planes, 66 regional planes, 93 medium-distance planes, and 66 long-distance planes. 

Air France-KLM's financials

In 2004, the two airlines were merged into Air France-KLM. This parent company recorded an annual revenue of around 30 billion euros in 2023. At an individual level, KLM contributed to its parent company’s revenue  roughly 10.7 billion euros in 2022. As of 2022, the airline group occupies the second place among the leading airline groups in Europe.
