This statistic shows public opinion on the state of the present system of governing in Great Britain from 2004 to 2018. In the most recent period of 2018, ** percent of respondents felt that the system needed a great deal of improvement. The share of respondents who felt that the system could be improved quite a lot remained nearly constant, dropping from ** to ** percent of respondents. By comparison, the share of respondents who believed the way of governing could be improved in small ways, but overall worked quite well, decreased from ** percent in 2004 to ** percent in the most recent surveyed time period.
