Volume of main fuel outputs produced in petroleum refineries have declined in the United Kingdom. Motor spirit is the main fuel output in all years, followed by DERV oil. Motor spirit output decreased by 6.1 million metric tons between 2005 and 2019, while DERV oil decreased by 5.8 million metric tons. In 2019, there were 16.5 million metric tons of motor spirit output and 13.3 million metric tons worth of DERV oil. In that same year, fuel oil had the smallest output volume, at 2.9 million metric tons.
