This statistic presents the main concerns of UK football clubs' finance directors with regards to their biggest financial hurdles and challenges over the upcoming twelve months, as of 2019. In the original survey respondents were asked to rank from one to four their main concerns. This statistic only displays concerns that were ranked as a number one issue by surveyed directors. Relegation and increasing player salaries were reported as the most pressing financial concerns by the majority of interviewed directors. Premiere league directors that responded to the survey also showed concern with the increasing costs of player transfer fees.
