Between the seasons 1897/1898 and 2019/2020, soccer clubs from the Italian region of Piedmont recorded the highest number of Serie A championships won. Overall, clubs from this region obtained a total of 52 titles, of which 36 won by Juventus FC. In Italy, the Serie A championship is also referred as scudetto, which is a patch in a form of a small shield with the Italian flag that is assigned to the winning club. Juventus FC won its latest scudetto in the season 2019/2020.
