When presented with a choice between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, a majority of MLB fans in the United States in 2022 preferred the Phillies to lift the World Series title. Almost 60 percent of respondents stated that they would want the Philadelphia franchise to win if they faced the Astros in the championship game.
