This statistic shows all unemployed people as a percentage of the economically active members of the industry they previously worked in, in the United Kingdom (UK), in July-September from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, the industry which had the highest proportion of unemployed people was accommodation and food services at *** percent. This means that at this particular time, all of the unemployed people who last worked in accommodation and food services made up *** percent of the current, active workforce in that industry. Looking back to 2012, we can see that accommodation and food services offered the least job security, having consistently the highest proportion.
