In April 2017, Philips Lighting became a discontinued operation due to sell-downs by Philips, and would become a stand-alone company. The figures since 2015 have been restated accordingly.
In 2022, Philips' net income amounted to a loss of *** billion euros, by far the biggest loss in the provided time interval. By 2024, the company's loss amounted to *** million euros. After spin-offs of other product segments, Koninklijke Philips N.V. today is a company focused on healthcare/medical technology.
