Oil production in Latin America and the Caribbean has been continually increasing in the last couple of years, dipping to around million barrels per day in 2024. This represented an increase of nearly ****percent in comparison to the peak output of the decade registered in 2015. Brazil is the largest oil producer in Latin America, accounting for over ***percent of the region's output that year.
